Sell a single unique item

Hello,

How do I enable it so that I can only sell a single item of a particular product? I don’t want a user to be able to add an item multiple times as I am only going to be selling unique pieces in most cases (i.e. I only have 1 item of a particular product). I don’t want people to be able to add an item multiple times.
