I installed fine and created stage folder fine but the permissions in the files and folders are not correct.

I get a 403 permission error when launching. So had a peek at FTP folder/file structure which has created pretty much everything as 600. Now I don’t want to do a full chmod 777 on all as that isn’t too safe. I can do each folder but that would be way to time consuming. So is there a way to create this with correct permissions. ?

Incidentally, I did a 644 on the core files and it lets me log in but as everything else is 600 nothing else can be done really.

    Thanks

    Hello,

folders must be 755 and files 644. These are the default wordpress permission settings. FTP Client like Filezilla can do this for all files and folders separately. No need to do that on a one by one file basis.

    Regards
    René
