I know I did this myself but can’t seem to fix it. On my self-hosted site, on the page where the website address is, I mistakenly added the address for a wordpress.com site I have. Now when I log-in to my hosted site, the log-in page sends me to log into the wordpress.com site and I only have access to that. I am new to wordpress, though I really like it. My site is claudiaholland.com but the log-in sends me to claudiaholland.wordpress.com which was just a test site to see if I could even do this. I have tried to go through the login page directly and it shows up, but the page gives a couple of shakes and goes to the wordpress.com site when I enter my info. I have ftp access, though don’t know much about it. Any help would be appreciated as I have been reading forums for two days and can’t see the same mistake. tks in advance

If you view the source of claudiaholland.com you’ll see that EVERYTHING points back to wordpress.com

Don’t worry. We can fix this ??

Change it to your domain, NOT wordpress.com

Holy crap…it works. Tks so much for your help. I really like wordpress, but sometimes I do things to see what they do and this time I couldn’t get it back. Amazing what typing in one line does. It was the relocate section on the instructions that worked for me. I just worked my way down the list. Tks again.

I’m having a similar issue with my self-hosted wordpress blog. My blog (www.meganbastian.com/wordpress) was working fine until I ran the most recent WordPress update, then my theme and styles seemed to disappear and I can no longer access the backend. I go to log into meganbastian.com/wordpress/wp-admin (as I used to with no problems) and it redirects to wordpress.com where I had created meganbastian.wordpress.com for testing purposes.

If I go to meganbastian.com/wordpress/wp-login.php, It appears that I am in the right place (recognizes my blog name “Megan Makes”), until I log in and it still takes me to wordpress.com again. I can’t figure out what happened, as I changed no settings manually, only ran a standard wordpress update.

    Can you help?

    Thanks.
