Selective User Login Failure

  • Hello,

    I have WordPress up and running. I’ve configured the basics and even added a few themes. My main login works great.

    However, I added a couple of additional authors/users. Both are set at a user level 2. However, I can’t login as either one of them! I get the response “Error: Incorrect Password.” I’ve reset the passwords through my main administrator account (successfully changed the password but still no luck logging in), I went through the password reset functions (through the “forgot your password” link), still doesn’t accept the password. What could be wrong? It logs in fine to the main account, just the additional ones that hare having trouble. I’m sure it’s something I’m doing wrong, but I sure could use the help!

  • I think I have experienced a similar problem, when I tested with more users *with the same email address*. (Myself as admin and ‘normal user’.) Did you use the same address for all users? Then try using different ones with any spare hotmail or yahoo addresses you might have.
