Selection of Shipping options required for Downloadable Products

    Dear Support Team,

    I have noticed an issue with the selection of shipping options required for downloadable products. I believe these product categories should not require shipping options. All the required settings for downloadable products are done. Kindly, help!

  • Hi, I might be able to help. We use WCFM too and have downloadable products.

    You will actually need to set up shipping in Woocommerce for these products so that the cart/checkout pages know what to do with them.

    Shipping zone – create your shipping zone/zones and add a flat rate called Download, and leave everything blank, selecting “per class” in the last box. Save it and do for each of our shipping zones.

    Shipping Class – create a shipping class called “download” or “digital product”. Any downloadable products should be assigned this shipping class.

    You will also need to configure Woo -> Products -> Downloadable products

    That should do it. Good luck.
