Selecting texts in the block editor

I will start by saying I hate the block editor sometimes. When I paste in some text from Word it always makes a new block for each paragraph. That makes editing it take longer as I have to select each individual block to justify the text. I’m using that Gutenberg block editor to make the text justified. Is there a better way?
