selecting item size in cart when ordering

    I thought I had this issue figured out but I cant make the size selection available for customers when ordering. Im not understanding why a size option is not a simple thing already available with a couple simple clicks. How can I allow customers to select size without having to make a separate product for each size on every shirt we sell?
