Unless I’m doing something wrong, it appears that selecting a table in the new block feature (great feature BTW) doesn’t work. The only way I can select a prebuilt table is to click on the table and then edit it and save it without changing it.

    Hello @trevorwood,

Prebuilt tables are templates that can be generated for easy and fast tables, you can not select the prebuilt tables that come out of the box in Gutenberg block, first you have to generate them. But we will add it to development task list for selecting those prebuilt tables at gutenberg block to discuss for future updates.

    Best regards.

That’s not quite what I was saying – I probably haven’t made it clear

I have created a number of tables using WP Table Builder. Previously I included them using the short code. Now I want to use the WP Table Builder element. I click on add block and find the WP Table Builder element. I click on that and it lists all the tables I’ve build using WP Table Builder. It says “No table selected” at the top. I click onthe table that I want to insert and it still says “No table selected”. It seems that the only way to select the table is to now click on the pencil (edit) icon and and then to save the table without any changes.

    Hello @trevorwood,

After you higlighted the table on that list, you have to click Select button to confirm your selection.

Position of the select button: link
