I have 2 wordpress websites, both are version 3.8.1, nextgen gallery, wp-greet. One of them has always worked successfully, where we have several galleries on the page, and the ecard form at the bottom. When a thumbnail is clicked, it displays the larger view right above the wp-greet form, just as it should. The user can then proceed with the card.

Although I have the other newer site set up *exactly* the same, it’s not working properly. When a thumbnail is selected from one of the galleries, the screen turns transparent black background, and it displays the larger photo with the arrows, etc, as if it was a standard Nextgen manual slideshow (the wp-greet form is ‘ignored’ if you will.)

FYI, Both have Nextgen lightbox effects set to shutter.

Is there something you know of that might be causing this? I can give a link upon request, however, it’s password protected. Perhaps I’ve provided enough information.

Thank you in advance for your response!

Which version of NGG do you use? If it is >1.9.13 then NGG is not compatible anymore with wp-greet since photocrati removed the filters. I wrote to them but never got an answer.

There are several ways to solve this:
    – switch to NextCellent gallery
    – switch to native WP gallery
    – modify the NGG code and add the filter (its just one line)

If this does not help. Please send me a link so I can have a look at it.
