Select your bank as a place holder

Hi Frank,
Great you like the new plugin. The description above the iDEAL issuer dropdown can be changed through the Mollie – iDEAL settings page (also possible for other payment methods).

Go to WooCommerce > Settings -> Checkout -> Mollie – iDEAL

Because we use a ‘description’ field I’m not sure if we should display it as placeholder in the issuer dropdown.

It is not possible to change this on this moment. Maybe I can add an option to the iDEAL settings page to display the ‘description’ in the issuer dropdown.

Hi, same problem here. Also, after you select a bank in the drop down, the field returns blank. It does remember the bank of choice but the fact that the field turns blank again might be pretty confusing ??

What do you mean with ‘field returns blank’? Can you describe your problem in more detail, maybe by providing a screenshot with it?

The default screen shows a white field (a drop down without arrows), also after an option is selected:

The printscreen shows the dropdown. I managed to change the bank names font color to grey already. However, the top field stays blank before and after an option (bank name) is selected.

Does that make it a bit more clear?

This is not something we can change in our plugin. This has to be changed in the theme you are using.

I’m using the WooCommerce StoreFront theme (https://woocommerce.com/storefront/) and the dropdown is displayed correctly: https://imgur.com/a/jmqqR

I’ve checked your website and found the problem. The selected value is not visible because the color and the background color are both the same: white.

You’ll have to ask someone with HTML / CSS experience to help you to solve this problem.
