Select Language appears rather than the language name

  • The below issue occurs on the latest version of this plugin. The translator widget field appears with ‘Select Language’ rather than the language name itself, see steps below for more details.

    Steps to replicate
    Login to Blogs
    Click on a Blog
    Navigate to the left-hand toolbar and click on Plugins
    Locate ‘Google Language Translator’ and click ‘Activate’
    Now go to ‘Appearance’ on the left-hand toolbar, click on ‘Widgets’, select ‘Google Language Translator’ and choose an area where to put the Google Translate plugin
    Click ‘Add Widget’
    Click to visit the main page of your Blog and locate the Google Translate plugin

    The default language will be English. Choose another language – the system should accept this
    Change the language back to English – the system should accept this
    *** Now select another language – irrespective of what language is selected, this selection will not be made and the language remains on ‘Select Language’ ***

    (If the user selects another language after this, the selection is successfully made).
