Select field placeholder language

    After I upgraded to version 5.7, all contact forms that use the include_blank option on the select field show “-Please choose an option-” at the top instead of “Bitte ausw?hlen” as originally.

    The WordPress language is set to german.

    What am I doing wrong?

  • From what i have seen it takes $locale ‘en_US’ and not the locale of the website hence the problem with translation.

    Same issue in French, cannot translate -Please choose an option-

    I got the same problem on my site (germany) i have seen its solved on your page and its correct translated again. What was the solution?

    ich habe gesehen auf deiner Seite ist es wieder auf Deutsch übersetzt. Was war die L?sung? Auf meiner Seite ist das selbe Problem – egal welche Sprache ich im Backend oder in meinem Profil einstelle es steht immer “Please choose an option” im Feld

    Actually I did nothing, but the Plugin was automatically updated to 5.7.1, so this should solve the problem.

    Plugin version 5.7.4 still has a problem with the localization.
