Select field has no options on products with many types of variations

    Some products may have different variation types, say, sizes and colors, or, like in our case – sort of food and number of packages in the box.
    For such products the select field does not show options and ajax in the product.js script does not return anything though it does not show any errors either.

    This problem does not arise on products with a single variation type like this https://test.superpet.ru/shop/cats/krolik-dlya-koshek_new/

    @ludmilasv I doubt, your settings are different. Please send a screenshot of your settings page or use the urgent help option under the help tab on settings page.

    My diagnostic was wrong. The cause was not multiple types of the variation, but a setting “Manage stock via other products”, which is custom and therefore do not work with your plugin.

    @fahadmahmood it means the following:
    one type of product is a pack with cat’s food. You can buy the packs separately, any number.
    Another type of product is a box with 12 packs. For this box you can set this property “manage stock via other products” and in a select field choose a product – for this box it will be the packs.

    But again, this checkbox “manage stock via other products” and the corresponding select field are a custom feature of the theme.

    Got it, so a product is depending on another product’s stock.
