Select Field , Getting "Custom Field Content" value

Hi,
Am using Types, “Select Field” function
<?php echo get_post_meta($post->ID, 'status', true); ?>This shows “Display Text”
but i wish to pull the value of “Custon Field Content” instead of “Display Text” value
