Select and Crop Header error

  • I have been using WP theme Twenty-Eleven for about 7 years, and it is appreciated. Recently, when I tried to load, select and crop a new header image, I experienced an error.
    Under the Dashboard/Appearance/Header/Add New Image, I was able to select the desired image from the Media folder, but, when I then chose “Select and Crop”, I’m brought to a screen with a blank image! There is no image to crop!
    This process has worked properly before (over a year ago since I last used it).
    Does anyone know what is causing this problem now?
