Select and add multiple images at once

  • Hello,
    One more idea, how about when editing, having the ability to insert multiple images to a post at once. This will save a lot of time when editors have to repeat the process of inserting image 20 times or more.

  • Gallery plugins do this quite well.

    Having said that, I would like to mention that using the Media Uploader API included with WordPress is far from a simple process. Simplifying it would help more plugin users to incorporate the interface provided by the core rather than creating their own interfaces.

    Heck, Gallery Shortcode does this well.

    Media uploader is dead simple.

    1) Make a post.
    2) Click to insert images.
    3) Drag and drop ALL the images into the ‘upload here’ space.
    4) Click ‘insert gallery’ (makes a shortcode [gallery] in your post)
    5) Beer.
