A client of mine wants to display a custom table top, then let the visitor choose a set of table legs that will appear next to the table top so they can be seen side by side.

The table leg thumbnails would display below the table top image and he wants the visitor to choose one that will appear larger next to the table top.

Is this something I could do in WordPress or would custom coding be required? We’re using the Enfold theme, but I don’t think it’s a theme question, but please let me know if it really is or if it’s not a reasonable thing to try to do.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi t-p. I appreciate you reaching out. I don’t think I can use an attachment page, although it could just be because I’m not a coder.

    Any other ideas?

Because of the need for specific positioning of the chosen image, I think you are going to be looking at a custom coded solution for this.

It’s not my business, so feel free to ignore the rest. If I were a customer, after choosing a certain leg set, I’d want to see the legs installed under my chosen top, not just larger and adjacent to the top’s image. I realize this would mean lots of various images to cover every possible combination of top and legs, so perhaps you don’t want to go there. Just sayin’ ??

Hi BC – thanks for the response. I think you’re right about the custom coding, and the customer wanting to see the legs under the top. But you’re right, too, it would be cost-prohibitive.
