• Resolved tslofphoenix

I thought I had this resolved this and closed a prior ticket, but the issue came back.

The menu bar keeps doing wonky things. The first time, all the page from the site appeared on it; and there were four rows on the menu bar.

I decided to create a new menu and it worked fine for a while. Then I updated a page and now the menu bar is doing wonky things again. It won’t line up properly. Short of creating a third menu bar, I don’t know what is wrong.

    Can anyone help?

  • Hi there,

Currently, this is how your menu appears for me:

Generally, you just need to create a custom menu and assign that menu to the Primary Menu location in Sela:

The only thing I could see causing the problem repeatedly is if the menu were regularly being deleted or unassigned from the Primary Menu location.

I think I may have tracked this problem to a WordPress Simple Membership plugin problem.

The menu as your screenshot shows is back to normal for now. I will have to see what happens the next time I do something that involves this particular plugin. I may have to find a different plug in, if this continues.

In my 7 years of web design, I have never seen anything like what happened. I should have taken a screenshot.

I think I will close this ticket, as I’m pretty sure I have discovered the cause. Thank you.
