    Hello Signor Aldolat,

One more question for you – the same website: https://lifevibrant.com :

I am displaying the posts on various pages and sidebars via PIS. Is it possible to segment the PIS output – I mean break the output of the posts (for example: after 4 posts), insert another widget (to display an ad etc), then resume the posts output again from where it was interrupted (from post 5, in our example) ?

    Thank you.

    Hello Parwaiz,
it’s not possible because every widget is independent from other widgets. Perhaps, a workaround could be creating two different widgets where the first has posts 1-4 and the second 5-to end.

    Let me know, please.

That workaround makes perfect sense – how to accomplish it? Where can I modify/edit the PIS to output the first 1-4, and then from 5-to whatever #?

    Thank you.

Create a widget and tell it to get 4 posts.

Then create a second widget and tell it to get 4 posts skipping the first four posts. You can skip the four initial posts using the option “Getting posts” > “Skip this number of posts”.

Superb – didn’t realize this feature is also there.

    Thank you so very much.
