I use woocommerce + cartflow + mailpoet. I’m trying the free version to try out the segmentations. Having said this,

    1) I disabled the optin at checkout: https://monosnap.com/file/lXzW6W1bFYOBmk49OoQZCxKUniZAKV
because I would like anyone who buys something to put on the list and be a confirmed subscriber. This is because he accepts the marketing conditions. So I don’t want a double optin confirmation but single. To do this, I had to set up the sending of emails with my own server, but I would like to use the Mailpoet one but this is not possible. Other tools allow this. Is there an alternative? It is important that the customer accepts the marketing conditions by purchasing

    2) When the user buys, he is registered but after 2 minutes he goes into unsubscribed status. I state that the order is completed. But automatically after a few minutes it goes back to unsubscribe and therefore in the segmentations there are no users to send a potential email to. See photo: https://monosnap.com/file/ScYqBbp5Yc6k3QgS4eiWMi8Y3Y6oTc
I don’t understand why … why does this happen?

    thanks in advance…

    Hi @darkuss,

As I understand, you’d like to have all of your WooCommerce customers automatically added to your WooCommerce Customers list as “Subscribed”, even when using our own sending service. Is that correct?

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to disable the signup-confirmation feature when you’re sending your emails with us. Double opt-in is enforced when sending with the MailPoet Sending Service to ensure you have your subscribers’ permission to send marketing emails to them.

So when you disable the opt-in checkbox on the checkout page, you’re not offering any options for your customers to subscribe to your mailing list. And because of that, it’s expected that all your customers are added as “Unsubscribed”.

Please note it’s not recommended to make consent a precondition of a service, as this can lead your subscribers to flag your emails as Spam in the future.

    I hope that’s clearer.

    Hi there @darkuss,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
