I added a couple of ACF Fields in a Field Group to my Products, and filled some values for the fields, which are Barcode and and Serial Number. Both have the string 3423, but the search in the Admin returns nothing.

    Hi @kenlyle,

    Thank you for your message.

Please tell me, have you tried setting Lite mode in the plugin settings? Does this solve the problem?

    Best,

Tnanks for the followup. Unfortunately, does not. I have one of those fields with 123, and 123 is not found when searching with the plugin active in Lite mode.

@kenlyle It looks like the ACF field structure in your database is incorrect and that’s why this isn’t working. This happens especially when posts are imported. Unfortunately, it is difficult for me to help you in this situation, because the search mechanism is simple and works without problems. If it does not find posts, it means that the data structure of ACF fields in the database is different than standard.

Thanks for the analysis! The weird thing is that I am doing all vanilla stuff, AFAIK. It is just click on ACF, create a field group with 2 text fields, assign it to products.

Is there any query or queries I could run on the database to verify the regularity or lack thereof of the ACF FGs? Or other diagnostics?

@kenlyle Now I realized what could be the source of the problem. You are looking for WooCommerce products, right? Our plugin does not currently support the WooCommerce plugin. There is a completely different search mechanism than in WordPress. Our plugin works for built-in post types and custom post types.

Yeah, that is correct. I tried to communicate that in my initial post.

    Thanks for the update.
