    Hi, with polylang pro and WordPress 6.1, I noticed that the latest stable and working version is the 3.2.13?
    All subsequent updates do not work.

    String translations are not working, they are showing up in the back-end correctly, but not in the front-end.

    I use a custom theme with _e(‘string name’,’theme domain’); hardcoded strings.

    with 3.2.13?version all works fine
    Could you kindly check why?

    hello @paolobrotto ,
    Please check if you have necessary themes and plugins selected in tab (In admin dashboard):
    Languages -> TTfP Settings.

    Is theme name the same as “theme domain” in your example?

    Regards.

    Hi, yes, theme name is the same (declared in style.css in text domanin row and also in functions.php, is the same in all strings)

    But still not works in front-end (in backend is all ok)

    Maybe also the folder name of the theme must be the same as text domain?

    Thanks! I also update the theme folder name and now works!
    So in order to work, theme folder name, text domain in style.css, theme name and text domain in functions.php must be the same.
