Seems not to work with WP 4.8

I find that comments are moved, show up as moved in the admin Comment display, show up in the comment count for the page where they were moved, but … do not display with the page. I can see them in the Edit Page interface only. I’m running WP 4.8.1.
This was with a set of three or four threaded comments. I moved the original and the others moved with it, displaying as described under Edit Page, but not View Page. I moved them back and they were visible again in the original Post where they had been created. I created a small comment and moved it. It was displayed. So I tried moving the single post in the sequence, the last of them. No display. (It was a long comment, all the comments were relatively long). At this point, if someone wants to see the comments I tried to move, the original one is at https://coldfusioncommunity.net/kevmo-toast-on-e-cat-world/#comment-5390 … until I can move it. I tried to move it to https://coldfusioncommunity.net/ot-nutritional-science/
