This sounds and looks just too good to be true. And for me it seems to be.

I have enabled this plugin and opened up my registration and I already have 10 spam registrations in 2 days. Email addresses and names with lots of numbers in them that only can be spam.

Also on the registration form there are actually 6 images displayed despite that I use the default settings that say 4 images everywhere!

And I have to ask is this really working good and can one rely on it? I have no idea how to break such a thing but to me thinking about it and the limited number of audio files and pictures, no animation or something. Just from my logical thinking perspective it would be pretty easy to train a bot so solve this captcha. I have seen https://areyouahuman.com/demo-playthru/ it requires dragging and has animations. Not sure but I think I saw some older versions of this with something like this, why just clicking now?

And if this is really loved my millions why has the WP plug-in only 2600 downloads?

I really want this to work but I am extremely skeptical if this is really as good as it advertises. Maybe I have to replace all the images with my own to make it work, because bots might already figured the standard ones out.

  • Not working for me either. Recently updated to the latest version of the plugin (though my site is on WP 3.6.1) and I receive 10-20 spam comments per day.

I thought it might be related to the NOT stopping comments (spam) support comment, so I tried that solution and that didn’t help (gave me double captcha on comments form).

    Hi, guys.

First of all, sorry about the late reply, we did not get any notification from WordPress.

We can help further with more information, but if you try to submit a registration without filling the captcha and it works, it’s a problem in the template/setup/configuration, and we can’t do anything with the plugin about it.

We can help you add the hooks in the right places.

If you need more privacy (sharing code, etc.), you can reach us at https://support.emotionloop.com/

Let me know if you need any help.

I have used this plugin in the past and always loved it.

I was surprised today to see that it changed from drag and drop to “click or touch” ??

But I am having the same issues as Nico, although my site is brand new and I haven’t had any fake registrations yet. Additionally though, the sound does not work.

And btw I’m also wondering why it only has 2000+ downloads when the description says “Loved by millions” ??

I am using WP 3.9.2 and the woo theme “Canvas.” I have tested in all browsers. I am going to send you a message via your website so that you can test ??

Yeah 100% made up. Blaming WordPress forums for supposedly not getting mails …

Then this cheap dismissal claiming its because of template. And then they are happy to help put hooks in right places.

If I understand it correctly to have this in the registration form I do not need to manually have to edit hooks in somewhere. I see the graphics and I have have to click them to login, still I get tons of bot registrations. So whats all this talk about hooks and templates now?

They lie and the plugin is simply not working.

    Hi, guys.

Again, WordPress not sending emails, no idea why, please use our own support if you need support quicker.

@BladHorseMedia: you can read a bit more about those changes at https://emotionloop.com/blog/visualcaptcha-5-released. As for the millions, click the link that says that to understand it.

@nico: You should not need any hooks or anything like that indeed for a default theme and login/registration/comments forms. If you’re having issues, I can assure you’re not the norm, and I can help you understand why, if you wish to fix it.
