Seems a promotion of the pro version

  • The plugin settings page is more like a promotion of the advanced version which is available for a “small donation” of $55 only. Wonder why the developer is shy to call it a “price”. Anyway, the user interface is not user-friendly. There are plugins which can do the same job in a more simpler way.

    The free version of the plugin is totally useful. Please take a closer look at the features of the plugin as it has some very unique aspects that provide for specialized user fields that can be managed by the logged-in user or controlled only by the admin. The plugin allows for fully featured management of your WordPress users.

    I offer an “Pro” version of the plugin that provides many advanced features via a donation, not a sale. Software for sale only cheapens it. I separated the extended features into a separate package to encourage donations for my work. It’s surprising how no one donates otherwise.

    The extended version is not restricted in use in any way. I have several people who have donated and even requested improvements which I added.

    To help defend my work, free or via donations, I will begin to request and petition for positive feedback as well.

    Software should be free. Service is where the value comes from.
