So I’m trying to create a technology blog, I found a nice minimalistic theme & used it. But I’m afraid it might be too clean, some of the feedback I got is that they were still waiting to see if my site has loaded. So I enabled featured image for every post, I don’t know if that works (the site is currently set to that).

I preferred the no image per post, but then as I didn’t even have a top banner image, it looked too clean.

Can you please provide some feedback and suggestion?

    Thanks!

Am I in the wrong section?…

I love the clean look but it does need a header that stands out more. I look at the page and I don’t know what I’m meant to look at first. Ideally you want to make me look at your header so I know who you are and what you are about and then my eyes should be guided downwards to your post titles and content. (Your navigation also needs to be in your header – I had to scroll down to find it.)
That’s just my ‘two cents’. Hope it’s helpful.

    Hi Hemang,

The theme is very attractive. The clean look is mesmerizing. But as thedebolavirus mentioned, you need to shift your menu on the top as this would increase the accessibility and user interactivity of the theme.

Also, I would advise you to use pretty-permalinks instead of the parameters. This would be helpful for SEO. Please have a look here for a definitive guide on permalinks structure provided by Joost de Valk (Yoast)

    Regards
