Seeking feedback ;-)

  • I recently discovered that the comments field on my blog was showing up on IE, even though it was commented out in the code and not displaying on FireFox. While I’ve fixed this (and cursed IE yet again,) I’m now nervous that there is more ‘weirdness’ that I’m just not catching.

    While I welcome any feedback on the design and/or usability, I’m most interested in any incongruities you might find.

  • The use of the 2 shades of gray was a little stressful on my eyes… and I’d rearrange the header to be slightly lower than the… j/k! ?? I hate it when people offer design advice instead of functionality advice.

    I’m using FireFox on Mac 10.3. Everything looks clean. I’d have no idea if something was showing up even though it was commented out though.

    Looks nice. Very easy to read the content.

    The only thing I would suggest is maybe increasing the font on your sidebar slightly

    I like it. Nice. Clean look. I don’t have a problem with the font sizes, I’m used to 1600×1200….

    Can’t help you with borking or problems on IE, I don’t use IE except to view sites I’m developing – on “localhost” only at that!

    If you could say what exactly is showing up in IE it be a lot easier to help you. The only thing I noticed the can bee a problem for old browsers was the css import section. It should look like this so older bowsers ignore it.

    I looked at it in IE5 and IE6 and didn’t find any major layout shifts or breaks. Quickly switched back to Firefox now ??

    You may want to increase the width or padding of the sidebar though.

    Thanks for the continuing feedback. ??

    I included the comment fields in the CSS call and revalidated the site (against XHTML 1.0 trans and CSS 2) and fixed a couple errors there.
