Seeking detailed pre-deployment consultation

While I am the site admin for tncoho.com, I am a newbie to WordPress. I’ve done everything so far by trial and error. Mostly updating content. Never fiddled with the infrastucture. Even my stating version 4.6.1 is a guess. So I’m looking for professional help regarding the (terrible) e-mail system the tncoho users are using; willing to pay reasonable fees.

While WordPress has groups of users defined, and each group has an e-mail address, the list expansion of, for example, [email protected], is done with a Google Groups app. Something about DNS sends message to [email protected] to Google. And yes, there are two separate and not-synchronized lists: users to groups in WordPress. Group’s E-mail address to individuals’ e-mail address (most of which are not in tncoho.com). It’s terrible!

I am seeking #1: to replace the Google Groups functionality with an in-WordPress function / plug-in. This would include untangling the e-mail DNS from Google.

#2 desire: to enable group members, say there are 4 parents in the [email protected] expansion, to send e-mail, if they so wish, from the [email protected] address. That is the “sender” of the message would be [email protected], not the individual’s personal e-mail. #2 is optional at this point.

#3 desire: a professional to guide me through update of WordPress engine as well as the installation of your plug-in. Willing to pay reasonable fees.
