Seeking advice on getting segments into signup form.
-
We are trying to set up a Mailchimp subscription form using your plugin. In our Mailchimp account, we have one audience and have set up seven segments within the account. We would like our form to include six of these segments as checkbox options. But I’m not seeing any way to have this integrated at all. In your form builder, I’m seeing nothing about making segments available as selectable options. Is there any way to do this.
To give you the intent behind this, our seven segments include membership and six different categories of interest. We do not want the membership segment to be available on the form. We have that segment set to only add users that purchase membership products in our store. We don’t want non-members to have the ability to subscribe to our list through that segment. The other six segments are categories of interest. We want all six of those present as checkbox options where users can choose any number of them they’d like. If someone chooses segment A on the form, then they should be subscribed to our list and automatically placed within segment A there.
Can anyone assist with how to go about setting this up? We can use Contact Form 7 for this if that will get it done. I’m just not seeing any way to first make the segments part of the form, and then be something that automates sending subscribers to those segments in our audience.
Thanks in advance for any assistance that can be provided. If there is another way you’d recommend to accomplish this we’re open to anything that works.
