• I’m hoping this is the right forum for my questions. I’m looking for a template similar to this one liquidforce.com or cureapparelco.com or bangindustries.com.

Obviously these were/are customized to fit the brands but I’d like to at least have a very similar template to start with. I would also need some customization to fit my brand but I think getting started on my own may be a way I can save some costs on my original startup.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi Brian90638,

You can search the themes as per your requirements from the following URL:
    https://www.bestwpthemez.com/

From this site I am suggesting you to check out the below mentioned theme:
Synchro Left Sidebar Black WordPress Theme

    Hope it helps you.

    Thanks.

I checked all of their templates and didn’t quite see what I was looking for. Clearly the sites I listed are customized. It’d be nice to know what they started with though.

Chances are all of those themes started from scratch. I know searching for a good, free theme can be very challenging so I would suggest looking into some paid themes. Often these themes can be purchased for under $20 but the quality of them is 10 fold compared to a free theme and often offer more room for customization.

However, if start up costs are an extreme concern, try searching Google using some of the following terms:

    “Best free WordPress themes 2010”
    “Best free WordPress themes 2009”
    “Bree free WordPress themes clothing”

Searches like that will often narrow your search results down to blog posts of people who have taken the time to sort through the thousands of free themes and highlight the best ones.

    That didn’t help much unfortunately.

I strongly disagree. There are some appalling, so-called, premium, themes out there with little or no support. Contrast them with a free theme like Suffusion with excellent support and there’s really no competition. Free themes that are submitted to the Theme Directory now have to pass a very rigorous submission process – a process that many of the commercial themes I’ve seen would fail at the first hurdle.

Esmi, can that theme be made to look like the sites I described in my opening post?

    Brian,
I doubt if you will find it ‘out the box’, the WordPress theme you linked to by gomedia is a custom theme, designed for a client bottom up, this would mean a few $$$.

However for $75 something like Urban Elements from Press75 looks like it be a good theme to start with, then create a child theme from it and edit to your own requirements.
