In the social media section I’m seeing %s where there should presumably be something else.

On our website, we have included content from %s to promote web pages (e.g. “like”, “pin”) or share (e.g. “tweet”) on social networks like %s. This content is embedded with code derived from %s and places cookies. This content might store and process certain information for personalized advertising.

    Hi @davehealey,

The %s should indeed get replaced with the actual translated variables in the localization files from the plugin.

Which language are you currently using, and could you confirm that the .po/.mo language files from the Complianz plugin are at their latest available versions?

You can check under Dashboard -> Updates > “Update Translations” if any updates to the language files are available.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi,

I’m using UK English. The translations are all up to date. If I switch to GDPR-EU and generate an EU policy there is no issue.

    Hi @davehealey,

Thank you for your patience while we looked into this.

Please find a version of the plugin Complianz containing a fix to address the %s variables in the Cookie Policy (UK) attached on this WeTransfer link: https://we.tl/t-acdOnaTs5x

Or download from GitHub instead, if you prefer this: https://github.com/Really-Simple-Plugins/complianz-gdpr/tree/social-media-uk-policy

Your current Complianz configuration on this website will persist upon updating to the above version of the plugin.

Hope this helps, please let us know about your findings with this new version.

    Kind regards, Jarno
