Seeing an error after redirecting to the site

  • Our WordPress application is sharing its Auth0 DB with our bespoke application. Logging in to each website works flawlessly. However, an error sometimes shows when the user logs in to our bespoke application then goes to the WordPress application, it should somehow automatically authenticate the user without entering the credentials (it works for most users).

    The error shown is “There was a problem with your log in: Cannot read property ‘clientSecret’ of undefined [error code: access_denied]”.

    One thing to note. Our WordPress application’s content is only available to logged in users. We’re using the Content Control plugin for this.
