• Apologies in advance if this has been asked for already.

I usually write posts for future publishing. Invariably, when I finish a post I forget the dates that other posts were scheduled. I have to save my work, then go back to the Posts/Posts page to check the dates that other posts are scheduled, then go back to the Edit screen to schedule my post.

What I would love to see is a calendar (in the right sidebar) on the Edit page showing the current month’s (by default) published and scheduled posts, so I wouldn’t have to switch screens.

Obviously I could just check beforehand, but sometimes I sit on the Edit page for hours and by the time I finish, I don’t remember the posting schedule.

    Thanks for your time.

  • did you find the plugin for this?
    Please share.
    Thanks.

Until a plugin is developed or found, you could open the Posts page in another browser tab and just switch to it when you need to check a date; keeping your edit page intact.

I’ll try the plugin and post back. It’s a bit old but hopefully it will work. Thanks.

The plugin works, but it’s not quite what I was looking for. I want to see the scheduled posts on the edit post/page screen, not the dashboard. Guess I’ll keep looking!

I want to see the scheduled posts on the edit post/page screen, not the dashboard.

They are there, by default. They show up on the top (as they’re scheduled). Everything’s in order from newest to oldest.

Sorry, by “edit post/page screen” I meant the screen where you are actually writing the post or page. It says “Edit Post” or “Edit Page” in the title. I want to see the scheduled posts there, not anywhere else.

Just in case my last sentence gets misinterpreted, obviously I want to see the scheduled posts on wp-admin/edit.php as usual.

You want a list of your in progress posts listed on the INDIVIDUAL edit post page?

That would get somewhat intensive to list every time, though I suppose you can edit the plugin I listed to post on other pages.
