Security scan error

    Been using Cleantalk for a long time. Of lage I’ve gotten lots of error messages.

    One is related to scanner.

    Scheduled: scanner__launch: Operation timed out after 3000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

    When I try to run manually an error pops up saying

    “The error occurred”
    Internal server error
    Stage: heuristic_analysis

    Log

    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 162 of the file  /www/wp-content/plugins/security-malware-firewall/lib/CleantalkSP/SpbctWP/Scanner/Heuristic/Variables.php. Error message: Uncaught RuntimeException: Index invalid or out of range in  /www/wp-content/plugins/security-malware-firewall/lib/CleantalkSP/SpbctWP/Scanner/Heuristic/Variables.php:162

    Hello @gnorf.

    Please, install the dev-version of the plugin.

    Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
    Find the plugin “Security by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
    After the automatic page refresh finds the plugin again, “Security by CleanTalk” —> Delete. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.

    Download the plugin archive from here: https://github.com/CleanTalk/security-malware-firewall/releases/download/dev-version/security-malware-firewall.zip.
    Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
    Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.

    All the fixes made will be included in the next release of the plugin – 2.87.

    Correction: Running analysis manually it did not bomb out on Heuristic analysis.

    It is still scanning. Will add comment once completed.

    Scan completed and sent. No errors seen during process.

    So apparently that update solved the issue.

    Hmm one thing though

    an error showed up on

    /wp-content/plugins/security-malware-firewall/lib/CleantalkSP/SpbctWP/Scanner/Heuristic/Transformations.php

    I approved it but it might be something you should look into.

    About Error Scheduled: scanner__launch.
    Please try to change the option “Use WordPress HTTP API”: WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Security by CleanTalk —> General Settings —> section Miscellaneous —> Use WordPress HTTP API —> Save changes.

    Also, check:
    1) If CURL support and allow_url_fopen (in php.ini) options are available and switched on on your webserver.
    2) If our IPs are available from your webserver: https://cleantalk.org/help/cleantalk-servers-ip-addresses.

    About error in Transformations.php.
