security plugin scan timeout

I’ve reinstalled the security plugin and trying to scan this site drinkertoys.com. it has all the options of things to scan checked. same as the other domains i updated today. this site wont complete a scan though. it gets half way through to updating status and gives a genereic drinkertoys.com says ‘timeout’

I’ve jacked up the php exec time, input vars, max input time and it has lots of memory.

the other sites that i updated seemed to do ok when i did this for the ‘thicker’ sites.

what would be the issue?
