Security Notifications

  • Hi all, I’m about to get WordPress up and running but am aware that from time to time there are security exploits found – does WordPress run a mailing or simialr for notifications of potential/proven problems? If not, has anyone got any recommendations for lists i can follow?

  • Your wordpress admin dashboard is the place for such announcement, but no mailing list, unfortunately.

    Hi am brand new to WordPress and am very concerned that there doesn’t exist a specific security mailing list. As this thread was first posted 11 months ago, is there an update to this, is there now a security mailing list?

    Anyone with a wordpress installation should be automatically notified of security exploits.

    No, there is no such mailing list and we all are still OK.
