    Hi Support,

I have a concern about security measures to prevent the website/registration from malwares attacks.
I have checked that the plugin provide recaptcha v2 and v3. Is this enough to prevent membership registration on the website?
    Do you have Akismet support?

    Waiting for your swift reply.

    Thanks,
    Divya

  • Hey there,

Thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

Yes, reCAPTCHA should prevent spam registration. You can you go to the Advanced Settings, use reCAPTCHA v3 on all memberships, and set Enable Spam Protection? in the Advanced Settings to Yes.

If you face fraudulent activity, I recommend reviewing this reCAPTCHA article and enabling reCAPTCHA v3 on your site to prevent fraudulent activity. We have an article here which discusses preventing fraudulent activity on your site, specifically by comparing the current user’s IP address to the billing address of the card that they are trying to use.

    Kind regards,
    Michael
