• Hi

I had a problem some weeks ago that I thought was a brute force attack. One morning I found that the landing page of my site had been cracked by a blog called “antisecurity team”.

After many attempts to solve it, I thought that the best way to solve the problem was simply reinstalling the whole CMS just keeping the DB and installing new and better security measures.

After a long time working in that direction, this evening I have started to reinstall all the plugins I had, starting with page builder, because is the most important I have.

It surprising but, in the moment I have activated the plugin, the landing page has just change again to the “antisecurity Team” page, and if I deactivate it the page disappears, just keeping the favicon in the tab.

Could anyone help my to solve this problem?

Has anyone had the same problem?

    Thanks in advance!!

    Hi jsanzsanpablo

Sorry to hear about this. I haven’t heard of this sort of exploit before. I hope it’s not directly related to Page Builder (I’ve done my best to follow security best practices).

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for me so I can log in and take a look at what’s going on? I understand if you’re not comfortable with this, especially given the circumstances, but if you are – my email is [email protected].
