    Hello,
I was installing some plugin that need the 755 file permission. So mistakenly I changed the file permission of my root file including all the directories and files (in root folder) to ‘755’ instead of changing the permission of one particular file. Anyways, I wanna ask is this secure or not !?

I don’t have knowledge about this file-permission thing.

755 is really only a problem if there’s executable files you don’t want everybody to be able to execute. It varies by server, but generally, all folders are 755 and non-executable files are 644 by default. You should use lower numbers on particular sensitive files for better security, but lowering too much will cause your site to malfunction.

It’s worth learning about permissions, but too complicated to go into here. Once you get your head wrapped around it, it’s actually rather simple.
