    Hi There,

    Hope you and your team are doing well.

    Couldn’t find email or contact form to ask regarding premium plans, so posting it here.

    Security daily plan offers unlimited video hosting. We need more information on it. WE are planning to use it to upload our courses, so we need a large storage size.

    Q1) Is it truly unlimited or there are any storage limitis.

    Q2) Where will the files be stored exactly, will we get backup of it?

    Q3) Is there any file size upload limit? will the file size limit of hosting provider affect the file size limit to jetpack.

    Q4) Do we get an option of bulk upload?

    Q5) After uploading the video file to jetpack, if we copy the video url and paste it in a post will it load the video directly?

    Q6) Is there any copyright issues like we have in youtube?

    Also I want to upload video files directly to Jetpack and not on my server – is that possible?

    1) As mentioned on our support page, there is a 2TB soft-limit on storage. If you hit that, you can contact us and we’ll increase it for you.

    2) The files are stored on our servers in our datacenters. A copy will not be stored on your server, so we recommend keeping the original video files, and making a separate backup of them if required.

    3) Video hosting works well for files that are 1GB and lower. It may work for files between 1GB and 2GB, but the larger the file, the greater chance for the process to fail. Most networks will time out before you’re able to upload a file that’s larger than 1.4 GB. We cannot support any files that are larger than 2 GB. Also note, if a video is longer than two hours and greater than 1GB, we don’t encode the HD or DVD files, due to storage space limitations. Instead, we display the video only at standard resolution.

    Videos are uploaded directly to our servers, bypassing your hosting provider, so their file size limit will not affect that.

    4) There is currently no bulk upload option.

    5) Yes, the video URL will load the video directly.

    I am surprised to know that there is no bulk upload option!!

    We can always drag multiple files to the library and upload them simultaneously, isn’t it? Please correct me if I am wrong.

    We are looking forward to upload the recorded zoom lectures, is there a way to integrate jetpack/WordPress with zoom and directly upload the recorded lectures to jetpack/WordPress?

    Is it possible with zapier?

    Or any option where zoom cloud recordings can be directly uploaded to jetpack/WordPress?

    You’re correct, you can drag multiple files into the media library, but the more files you try to upload at once, the greater the chance of the connection timing out, so for example if you tried to upload ten 500mb files at once using this method, it would likely fail.

    Jetpack doesn’t currently integrate with Zoom or Zapier, so there is no way to upload Zoom recordings directly using Jetpack Video Hosting.

    Thank you for you quick response.

    Do you take custom requirements?

    We need Jetpack integration with zoom. It is a custom requirement and you can send us a quotation for the same. If it fits in our budget we would be happy to have jetpack on board.

    Our requirement is immediate.
