    I’m using a plugin that is showing me how many people failled to login as administrator and they give me they country (especialy from italy).

    I would like to know how to protect my login page or restrict just connection from my country to login as administrator.

    Help me please.

  • BulletProof Security. I always try to be considerate of all plugin authors, but BPS is the hands-down, top-shelf, best-of-class-and-show for WordPress security. Then if you later also decide to do some IP blocking of specific traffic or even entire countries, Wordfence Security can do that dynamically rather than building a huge .htaccess file.

    THank you, but i just edited the .htaccess (I blocked Italy) and now I have problems with Ukrain ??

    You’ll pretty much never be able to block every bot out there. If you did you’d be blocking a huge chunk of legitimate users as well.

    The best thing is to keep your passwords secure, don’t use a user account of admin and use something like Wordfence or Bulletproof Security.
