I’ve recently changed our website, humanaturepodcast.org to HTTPS. We are now needing our podcast feed from Seriously Simple Podcasting to be changed to HTTPS as well. We made the change today and I’m wondering if it’ll take a day or so for the feed to update? Or is this something that we need to ask the admins of the plugin to do?

The reason for this change is that iTunes is requiring all podcast RSS feeds to be secure starting in 2017. However, our podcast is a part of NPR, which is setting deadline of December 15th to update all feeds to HTTPS. Please let me know as soon as you can.

    Thank you,

    Anna Rader

  • The only thing you have to do is to tell your server to redirect every “http” request to its “https” counterpart. Most webhosters have an option for that. Else you can do it with 3 lines in the .htaccess file.
