• Need a plugin or solution for our applicants to apply for scholarships.

    APPLICATION NEEDS:
    – Applicant must create a Username and Password so they can log in and out of a secure area.
    – Application is fully editable within a date/time range but once submitted in that range, it’s no longer editable.
    – Application can be in a one page form but I prefer a step-by-step form where the applicant is required to fill in required fields before proceedings and can navigate between completed pages.
    – Applicant needs to be able to upload documents.
    – Once submitted, an email alert is sent to the person who reviews the applications with the Applicant’s contact information.
    – Applicant is directed to a confirmation page upon submitting.
    – Applicant has access to a dashboard where they can edit their basic contact information and view submitted applications (not edit) for current and previous years.
    – Dashboard can be customized with other plugins like a Newsletter, Calendar, etc…

    ADMIN NEEDS:
    – Admin needs to be able to view and print applications in a report format…easier to read…for current year.
    – Admin needs to be able to view and print applications in a report format…easier to read…for a previous year selected.
    – Admin needs to be able to filter applicants by year, last name and first name, then have the option to edit certain fields with “Internal Use Only” information like award money…Admin can NOT edit applicant’s answers!
    – Admin needs to be able to filter applicants by year, last name and first name, select the applicant and either edit or print the information in a report format.
    – Admin needs to be able to print a report on current year award money as well as previous award money.
    – If anything, Admin just needs a way to extract the information and run reports from it.

    Thank you!

  • Hello B2995,

I am looking for a similar setup that would populate an excel spreadsheet if possible. Did you get any updates on a plugin to do similar form functionality?

    Hi Jesse!

I used the MemberPress plugin along with NinjaForms. Our form is really long so I created a form where they could upload the required documents. NinjaForms allows for “Hidden” fields which I use for our “ADMIN ONLY” fields. Hope that helps!
