Section Widget support

  • Section Widget is a great plug-in and I’ve put it to good use. I also developed a child from Section Widget by marrying it to Code to Widget. My new version of Section Widget allows one to drop saved code or snippets of code into tabs of Section Widget. I wanted to share this with the author of Code to Widget and explain a problem that I’m having with Section Widget.

    I have a big site with lots of pages, categories and tags. When the dynamic portion of Section Widget loads in the admin screen it takes a LONG time. I wanted to see if we could create a cache to make things load more quickly.

    However, the link to the plugin site and the plugin author are both dead. Does anyone support this or would anyone have an interest in taking up my “Son of Section Widget / Code to Widget”?
