Section templates only from main language

Hi

My site is EN and DE, and EN is the main language. I have an off-canvas menu in the header and use section templates as content for that. In that section template is a nav bar widget with the German or English menu.

When I’m in the German header, which is linked to the English header (first created the English header, and from within Elementor, created the German version), I cannot select the German version of the section template for the off-canvas menu. In the search, only the items from the main language are showing up.

This is also true for normal pages outside of the theme builder. Only the section templates of the main language are showing up.

I’m using Elementor 3.5.5 with Elementor Pro 3.6.2, Polylang 3.1.4, and Polylang Connector for Elementor 2.0.3.

For test reasons, I switched the section template to the main language but kept the content in German. This way, it works as the section template is still displayed, even though it’s not the same language as the currently displayed website. Therefore I assume that the language code of the section templates is not considered when rendering the website.

Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong?
