Section Headings for Page Hierarchies

I would like to be able to create sub-pages with category headings.

What I have that is currently working:

I have a main navigation menu that shows three links “Page 1” “Page 2” “Page 3,” displayed in a horizontal menu. I am using the “Sub Pages widget.” When you click on “Page 1” the sidebar widget changes to all the subpages of “Page 1.” IE “Sub Page 1,” “Sub Page 2,” “Sub Page 3,” “Sub Page 4,” etc.

What I currently have (Page 1 selected) is:

Page 1
Sub Page A
   Sub Page 1
   Sub Page 2
Sub Page B
   Sub Page 3
   Sub Page 4

Where “Sub Page A” and “Sub Page B” both have the parent page, “Page 1,” and “Sub Page A” is a parent page for “Sub Page 1 and Sub Page 2,” and “Sub Page B” is the parent of “Sub Page 3” & “Sub Page 4.” However, Sub Page A and Sub Page B are actual pages and the Sub Pages widget automatically makes them into links.

I would like to be able to add headings to some of the Sub Pages, below is a crude diagram with Page 1 Selected:

Page 1
Static Heading 1
   Sub Page 1
   Sub Page 2
Static Heading 2
   Sub Page 3
   Sub Page 4
