Hello, as I’ve said before, I am a big fan of the plugin.

Sadly, now the section blocks have stopped working for me in the back-end. On the front end, everything seems fine, but when I try editing them, I get the following error: “In this block, an error occurred and a preview is not possible.” I can still adjust elements inside the sections, but whenever I click on a section itself, it and the contents of the section disappear and the error pops up.

Do you have any ideas what I can do to fix it? Is the section block maybe reacting to another plugin? I would really appreciate your help!

    All the best!

    Hi @spression,
We were not able to replicate the issue locally. Section works properly. Could you specify what block you add to the Section?
You may try disabling third-party plugins one by one checking the page in order to learn if there is any plugin that causes an issue.

    Hey @dimned,
I have disabled all plugins, but it still does not work.
It happens with all kinds of content. Some sections are filled with regular text only, others with texts and images and buttons. Nothing too fancy but all with the same result described above.

    Hey @dimned,

You linked the Clef Two-Factor Authentication support page. Is that the correct link for your support team?

    Hi @spression,
I’m sorry I’ve just corrected the link.

Thanks, I just contacted support and hope to get this resolved.

Quite a late reply, but in case it’s still useful: when I got this error with section blocks, it appeared to be connected to disabling the Image Hotspot block. (I’ve shared this with the team in another thread.)

Of course your problem might be something different! But, if you have also disabled some blocks, that might be a worth looking into at least.

Wow! I can’t thank you enough @fox-lee. I am so happy right now! I’ve struggled with this for weeks now, and the fix is so simple. Again: Thank you very much! You’re a website saver! Would have been a lot of unnecessary work otherwise.

    All the best to you,

Oh, but as a heads-up @fox-lee and @dimned: For me it was the exact other way around. I had to disable the image hotspot block to fix the problem. I’ll post it in the other thread as well.

    Hi @spression,
Thanks for your feedback. Could you email this in your open ticket so agents could test it on your site?
    Thanks @fox-lee for participation.

You’re very welcome @spression! I’m glad it wasn’t too late to be of use. How interesting that the problem would mirror itself between our sites. Hopefully this will help the team pin down exactly what’s going on between those two blocks ??

Did as you asked, @dimned. Thanks again for your effort!

    Hi @spression,
We have just released a new version of the Getwid plugin 1.6.5 where the issue with Section block should be resolved. Could you update the plugin and check if you still experience an issue?

    (@spression)

Thank you for your information @motopress. With the update the Section block works. The fix for me was truly to deactivate the Image Hotspot block. Thanks again!
