Secret Bonus…

    There’s a secret bonus to using this plugin…which I’ll get to shortly! But for now I’d like to start at the beginning: I was happily using the marvelously excellent “Ad Injection” plugin but then its author disappeared while modern browser ad blockers totally prevent its output from being displayed.

    John Morris makes a great little “Ad Blocker Detector” plugin (also available on this official WordPress repository) but that only works with shortcodes, which “Ad Injection” doesn’t use so I had to go looking for a new ad manager plugin. Thus, “Ad King Pro,” which does use shortcodes!

    The funny thing is, however, that browser ad blockers like “Adblock Plus” haven’t targeted “Ad King Pro” yet (or else there’s some serious software sorcery going on here!) which totally negates my need for an ad-blocker detector plugin…at least for now!

    So that’s the “secret bonus” to using “Ad King Pro”…your ads won’t be disabled by a browser’s ad blocking extensions/plugins!!!

    Erm…actually, YMMV: with ElegantThemes’ “Evolution” theme no ads were disabled but in CSSIgniter’s “Glare” theme everything behaves normally (i.e., ads are disabled)….
