Secondary Widget Area Not Displaying On Single Post Page

  • Using Twenty Thirteen theme and added widgets to the secondary widget area. They show up on the homepage in the right column, but when I click on a post, they dont show?

    I thought the secondary widget area was supposed show on posts on pages, so why is it only showing on the home page and nowhere else?

  • Hey there. Yes, you’re right, the secondary widget for Twenty Thirteen should show on all posts and pages. Could you provide a link to your site at all? Have you made any changes to any of your theme’s template files that may have caused this?

    If not, try deactivating all of your plugins. If this solves your problem, reactivate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin/s.
