    Hi,

    We have a multisite, multilingual environment and are NOT using Gutenberg (we are on 4.9.10), yet we see the “Secondary Title Doesn’t Work any more!” message when we edit a post. However, we tested the plugin and it in fact, does seem to work correctly. Is there anything else we need to do, or can we just go ahead and disable / ignore the warning message?

    Please let me know. Thank you.

    What browser do you use? And what version of Classic Editor?

    I’m sorry, you’re using < 5.0, so no Gutenberg yet.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the fast response. We usually us either Chrome 72.0.3626.121 or above or Firefox 65.0.2. (Basically, the latest stable versions.)

    I’ve just tried to reproduce this bug with your Chrome and WP version but couldn’t. However, it sounds like it might have something to do with the individual combination of your plugins.

    To be a bit technical: When you hit the hide link, Secondary Title is looking for URL parameter n. Not the smartest choice, I’ve just realised, since other plugins might use the same parameter, therefore Secondary Title can’t read it or get a faulty value.

    Anyway, your problem reminded me that this message doesn’t have to be shown with WP versions below 5.0 at all. I’ve added a version check so that this message only is being shown with WP version 5.0 and above.

    Please delete the old plugin (all secondary titles will remain, however, just to be 100% sure, please back up your DB) and replace it with this version:

    We backed up, deactivated and uninstalled the plugin and installed the version you sent. The error message no longer shows up and everything seems to work correctly.
